(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man has been sentenced to a term not to exceed 10 years after pleading guilty to a reduced charge of robbery in the second degree…a class “C” felony.
Michael Koontz had originally been charged with robbery in the first degree along with other offenses in connection with an incident last summer in Arnolds Park.
Koontz was accused of robbing a man and striking him repeatedly in the early morning of August 12th, 2001.
