(Sioux City)– A Lake Park man has been sentenced in federal court on a methamphetamine charge.
38-year-old Michael Dallas Matthiesen pleaded guilty previously to a count of conspiracy to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Judge Mark Bennett sentenced Matthiesen to 30 months imprisonment and four years supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a 100-dollar special assessment.
An indictment alleged that between about 1993 and through about 1998 Matthiesen distributed and possessed with the intent to distribute more than one pound of methamphetamine in the Iowa Great Lakes Area.
