(Estherville)– The city of Estherville is getting a slice of the Vision Iowa pie.
The Vision Iowa Board Wednesday approved slightly more than a million dollars for the Estherville Regional Wellness Center project. The grant is coming through Vision Iowa’s Community Attraction and Tourism program…or CAT.
The wellness center is just one component of what’s proposed to be a large community complex on the east side of Estherville. It will also include a new four million dollar National Guard armory and a four to five million dollar performing arts center proposed by Iowa Lakes Community College.
