(Spirit Lake)– Some changes could be in store for Dickinson county’s building permit fee schedule.
The Planning and Zoning Commission Monday reviewed the proposed change that establishes additional categories for projects with estimated values of 50,001-dollar up to a million. Under the proposal being considered, a building permit for a project with an estimated value of 101-thousand to 250-thousand dollars would cost 250-dollars and those with an estimated value of 251-thousand up to a million would cost three-hundred dollars.
Planning and Zoning Administrator David Kolhaase says the current structure has been in place since 1990.
