(Graettinger)– A Graettinger woman was killed Wednesday when she was ran over by her own car.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says 78-year-old Dorothy Hankey had started her car and was scraping frost off the windows when it slipped into gear…driving over her.
Hankey’s husband called authorities after noticing the car was in a different spot.
Dorothy Hankey was pronounced dead a short time after the mishap.
Authorities say she was getting ready to go to work when the mishap took place.
