Charges Filed In Estherville Burglaries/Assaults

(Estherville)– Charges have been filed against several people in a recent string of burglaries and assaults in Estherville.

Police say 20-year-old Justin Peterson and 19-year-old Cory Boller were arrested January 17th in connection with an incident that same day in which a house in Estherville was allegedly broken into and three residents assaulted.

On January 20th, police arrested 20-year-old Evan Sabby on a warrant for first degree burglary and second degree criminal mischief…stemming from the January 17th incident.

Also on January 20th, police say they received a report of another burglary at a residence in Estherville in which the occupant was assaulted. 20-year-old Nick Gineris was charged with first degree burglary.

A third incident was reported on January 26th. Estherville police say they responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence. Upon investigating, authorities learned an occupant at that residence had also been assaulted. An investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Amanda Williams who was charged with first degree burglary.

Authorities say additional arrests are likely.
