Terril School sets timeline.

November 23, 2014

The Terril School sharing committee has a time-line to follow in planning for the future. Superintendent Bruce Tepfer says the group will first visit all adjacent school districts to pick the one with whom they would most like to partner. The sharing committee wants research completed by May so Terril patrons can be questioned about their preferences both with surveys and community meetings in August. Then, Tepfer told KUOO news, an actual proposal will be readies in the fall. Officials in the Terril School District hope to find a solution to their declining enrollment and income that will allow them to keep an attendence site in town – even if it’s not a full K thru 12th grade facility.
