(Estherville)– After 19 years, Dave Knox is calling it quits as Estherville’s Fire Chief. He’ll be retiring February 26th after serving a total of 33 years on the Estherville Fire Department.
Knox says he was very honored to have served the community in that capacity and that he’s definitely going to miss the job. But he says he’s looking forward to having more free time.
Even though Knox is retiring as Fire Chief, he’s going to continue his full-time job with the city of Estherville.
