(Spirit Lake)– The filing period opened Monday for county offices and boards of supervisors across Iowa.
County Auditor Nancy Reiman tells KUOO news there’s a lot of interest for Dickinson county offices…especially for the Board of Supervisors.
Several people had already filed papers at the end of the first day of filing. And Reiman says a lot of people have been taking out nomination papers.
As of late Monday, Rosalise Olson of rural Milford had filed for the Republican nomination for County Attorney; Ronald Eick of Terril had filed as a Democrat for the district two seat on the board of supervisors; and Donna Buhl of Spirit Lake had filed as a Democrat for the district four seat on the board of supervisors.
March 27th is the filing deadline.
