(Milford)– A West Okoboji man was injured in a one vehicle accident Thursday east of Milford.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old John Patrick Higgins was westbound on county road A-34 when he lost control. The pickup he was driving left the road at the intersection with 270th Avenue, became airborn, and landed in a field.
Higgins was taken by ambulance to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. The extent of his injuries wasn’t certain.
The pickup was a total loss.
The mishap remains under investigation.
