(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake business owner is running for the District four seat on the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors.
Donna Buell filed her papers Monday.
She tells KUOO news she feels she would bring a lot to the table with her experience as a C-P-A and lawyer and having served six years on the board of directors of the Dickinson County Taxpayers Association. Buell was also active in establishing the Dickinson County Water Quality Commission.
When it comes to the courthouse, she’s advocating a compromise. Buell wants to see the original building remodeled to house the county’s administrative offices…with a new building on a different site housing the judicial system.
Buell is running as a Democrat.
