(Spirit Lake)– There’s now a race for the Democratic nomination for the fourth district seat on the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors.
Mike Wittrock of Spirit Lake filed his papers on Friday.
He’ll square off in the June Primary against Donna Buell of Spirit Lake and any other Democrat who should happen to file yet for that seat.
Wittrock told KUOO news it’s his interest in politics that led up to his decision to run. He said he looks forward to finding a fiscally responsible solution to the courthouse dillema.
Wittrock has been working as a truck driver and in other capacities recently. But he says he’d make being a supervisor a full-time occupation if he’s elected.
This is the third time Wittrock has pursued a seat on the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors.
