(Orleans)– Fire destroyed a garage and storage shed Sunday evening in Orleans.
Spirit Lake Fire Chief Wally Jorgenson says they were called to the Mark Hoss residence at 24245 140th Street around 6:30 p.m. Jorgenson says the structure was fully engulfed when they arrived. Firefighters managed to keep the blaze from spreading to a nearby garage.
A snowmobile, tools and other equipment in the building were destroyed.
Jorgenson says Hoss, who was home at the time, was notified of the fire by a passerby.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
The Spirit Lake Fire Department was at the scene until about 8:00 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
