(Jackson, Mn.)– Authorities in Jackson county, Minnesota have released the identity of a man seriously injured in a snowmobile accident.
The man is identified as 21-year-old Justin Edward Courtwright of Bingham Lake, Minnesota.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a snowmobile accident on the southeast side of Fish Lake around 4:00 a.m. Friday. Details into the mishap weren’t immediately available.
Courtwright was taken by ambulance to the Windom hospital. He was transferred by air to Sioux Valley hospital in Sioux Falls.
The mishap remains under investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, which was assisted at the scene by the Windom and Mountain Lake Police Departments and the Windom ambulance and fire department.
Fish Lake is located in the northeast corner of Jackson county…on the Cottonwood county line.
