(Estherville)– Stress and the role it plays in child abuse will be the topic of an upcoming program in Estherville.
“Handling Family Stress” is the title of the latest in a series of parent education classes to be held Monday, April 8th at 6:00 p.m. at Demoney Elementary School.
The free program is being put on by the Educational Equity program at Iowa Lakes Community College and Prevent Child Abuse Iowa. It will be presented by Laurie Nielsen who holds a degree in social work and serves as the Education Equity Adviser for Iowa Lakes Community College.
The program is free.
