(Estherville)– Some local soldiers are about to be deployed again.
Soldiers with the 194th Field Artillery division that has units in Estherville, Algona, Storm Lake and Eagle Grove are among a larger contingent of soldiers from other National Guard units scattered around the state that are being deployed.
Informational meetings for friends, family, employers and soldiers will be held at 6:00 p.m. April 29th at Roosevelt School auditorium in Estherville; 5:00 p.m. April 26th at the National Guard Armory in Algona and 6:00 p.m. April 28th at the Knights of Columbus Meeting Hall in Storm Lake.
A news release announcing the meetings doesn’t mention how many local soldiers are being deployed or where they’re headed.
