(Worthington, Mn.)– A Brookings, South Dakota man was seriously injured when a car he was driving collided with a semi tractor-trailer Wednesday on Interstate 90 in Jackson county.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 23-year-old Robert Hirschoff was taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital and was transferred to Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls with serious injuries.
No injuries were reported to the driver of the semi, 48-year-old Brian Breon of Hedrick, Iowa.
The 1999 Chrysler Hirschoff was driving was described as a total loss.
The mishap took place around 10:15 a.m. nine miles east of Worthington.
