(Lake Park)– A Worthington, Minnesota man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident early this (Saturday) morning near Lake Park.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Christopher Froehle of Brewster, Minnesota lost control of the vehicle he was driving on county road M-27 about a mile north of Lake Park.
Froehle and two passengers, 23-year-old Shane Rose of Worthington and 21-year-old Ryan Lemikson of Jackson were taken by ambulance to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. Froehle and Lemikson were treated and released. Rose was transferred by life-flight helicopter to McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Information on his condition wasn’t immediately available.
The crash took place around 3:45 this (Sat.) morning.
It remains under investigation by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office…which was assisted at the scene by the Iowa State Patrol, the Lake Park Police Department, Lake Park Ambulance, Spirit Lake Ambulance and the Lake Park Fire Department.
