(Arnolds Park)– A heavily traveled road just east of Arnolds Park has been closed for construction.
Dickinson County Engineer Dan Eckert says 240th Avenue near Pelican Ridge was closed this (Thurs.) morning. Survey crews are working in that area as they prepare the road for paving.
Eckert says they plan to have it open again by the fourth of July.
Allied Paving of Charles City, Iowa is the general contractor on the project, which came in just under 580-thousand dollars.
