(Milford)– St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Milford will play host to a special group of bicyclists later this month. Parish spokesperson Susan Reiser tells KUOO news the “Pilgrimmage On Wheels” bike ride is being held June 8th through the 15th to celebrate the centennial of the Sioux City Diocese.
Reiser says the riders will arrive in Milford about mid-afternoon June 13th where they’ll spend that night camped out at St. Joseph’s ball field. Reiser says a number of events have planned for that evening…along with a breakfast the next morning.
In addition to Milford, other cities in our area on the ride’s route are Emmetsburg, Graettinger, Terril, Everly, Hartley and Primghar.
Somewhere between 200 and 300 riders are expected.
