(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake native that’s hit it big in Nashville will perform at this year’s Dickinson County Fair.
Fair spokesperson Linda Dingel tells KUOO news Shannon Brown will put on a concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 28th at the Expo Building.
Tickets are on sale in advance by contacting the office in the Expo Building. They are eight dollars in advance for adults; 10 dollars at the door and five dollars for students. Only a thousand tickets will be sold for the show.
Dingle says this year’s Dickinson County Fair will also feature Duane Nelson…a wood carver from Jackson, Minnesota. Nelson will be carving several pieces that will be auctioned off as a fundraiser for improvements to the fairgrounds.
The Dickinson County Fair will be held July 28th through August 1st in Spirit Lake.
