(Spirit Lake)– A major milestone in the efforts to build a YMCA in the Iowa Great Lakes.
Brian Petersen of Camp Foster YMCA of the Okoboji’s tells KUOO news four million dollars has been raised for the project. The goal is five and-a-half million.
Petersen says that keeps them on target for some site work to be done yet this coming fall and actual construction to start next spring.
