Charges Filed In Theft/Drug Case

November 23, 2014

(Estherville)– Two adults and a juvenile have been charged with theft by Palo Alto and Emmet county authorities.

A camper at Tuttle Lake reported to an Emmet County Sheriff’s deputy Tuesday that several items had been taken from the campsite. A search warrant was executed Thursday night at the Marlin Jensen residence near Osgood, Iowa where authorities say they recovered a radio, camping chair, portable gas grill and other items. A 13-year-old male was charged with burglary in the second degree. 40-year-old Jensen and 34-year-old Nannett Pellet were charged with possession of stolen property.

But the story doesn’t end there.

During the search officers also found drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine and precursors for making meth. Jensen and Pellet were also charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia and were booked into the Palo Alto county jail in Emmetsburg.
