(Spirit Lake)– Resurfacing and widening of Highway nine between Highway 86 and the Osceola county line is to start this Monday (Aug. 12).
Phil Spencer of the Iowa Department of Transportation’s regional engineering office in Cherokee says the project is slated for completion October 15th.
Until then, Spencer says traffic in that area will be limited to one lane with a pilot car.
Rohlin Construction of Estherville is the general contractor on the project, that has a price tag of almost 2.2 million dollars.
