(Spencer)– Clay Regional Water is getting some federal funding.
The U-S Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development agency has awarded a loan of 1.6 million dollars and a grant of 700-thousand to Clay Regional Water.
C-R-W General Manager Randy Van Dyke says the funds will help pay for expansion projects in Clay, Dickinson and Emmet counties. Approximately 376 users will be added. The funds will also help upgrade monitoring systems and remodel a treatment plant.
