(Spirit Lake)– Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle rear-end type accident Saturday on Dickinson County Road M-56 at the Camp Foster turn-off.
The sheriff’s office says it involved vehicles driven by 48-year-old John Boro of Omaha and 16-year-old Christine Morgan of Kingsley. Boro was taken by ambulance to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities say Boro had stopped and was attempting to turn onto the Camp Foster road when Morgan collided with the rear of his vehicle.
Morgan was cited for failure to stop in a safe, assured distance.
About a thousand dollars in damage was estimated to both vehicles.
The mishap took place around 10:15 a.m. Saturday.
