(Spencer)– A telemarketing firm has closed its call-center in Spencer…putting 63 people out of work.
APAC Customer Service employees received written notices Monday telling them the office was being closed…effective immediately.
APAC spokesperson Stephanie Peterson says the closure is the result of a restructuring the company is going through.
She says the employees were given a chance to move to another center. Those who don’t will receive two weeks pay.
