(Arnolds Park)– An early morning chase in Arnolds Park has resulted in numerous charges being filed against a rural Milford man.
Okoboji and Arnolds Park police say they were attempting to pull over an all-terrain-vehicle for driving with no lights around 1:42 a.m. Tuesday on Hinshaw Street near the Arnolds Park City Hall. Authorities say the driver refused to stop, leading them on a pursuit through several city streets and some county roads. It went on for about 20 minutes before officers were finally able to box-in the suspect. He was identified as 42-year-old Robert Leith of rural Milford.
Leith was charged with fourth offense operating while intoxicated, eluding, driving while revoked, reckless driving and numerous other traffic offenses. He was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
