(Wahpeton)– Gubernatorial hopeful Doug Gross was among the Republican candidates on hand Friday evening for the annual Pachyderm Dinner at Crescent Beach.
In an interview with KUOO news, Gross said he feels the state’s budget woes are still far from over. He’s calling for a restructuring of state agencies. Gross says every state agency needs to be examined to see if it’s fulfilling a purpose or need. If it isn’t, he says it needs to be changed or eliminated.
Gross also sounded off on large animal confinements, saying more local control is needed. He says the “social matrix” being implemented with a new feedlot bill doesn’t make sense.
