(West Des Moines)– A bank that has ties to the Iowa Great Lakes Area is expanding its service territory.
West Des Moines-based Liberty Bank is purchasing Hancock County Bank and Trust which has offices in the north central Iowa towns of Garner and Klemme. Hancock County Bank has about 125 million dollars in assets and 24 workers at its two offices. Liberty Bank officials say those workers will be able to keep their jobs.
Liberty Bank has offices in ten locations statewide in Iowa, including one in Arnolds Park.
