(Arnolds Park)– One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday east of Arnolds Park. It took place shortly before 1:00 p.m. on 260th Avenue just north of the intersection with 200th Street.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 54-year-old Alan Munson of Spirit Lake was delivering mail to 1974 260th Avenue and was pulling away from the mailbox. Authorities say a sport utility vehicle, driven by 25-year-old Buffy Manwarren of Terril, was northbound on 260th Avenue and collided with the left rear wheel of the vehicle Munson was driving.
Manwarren was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. No injuries were reported to Munson.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Arnolds Park Police Department and Arnolds Park Fire and Rescue.
Authorities say the mishap remains under investigation.
