Graettinger School Receives Literacy Grant

November 23, 2014

(Graettinger)– The Graettinger school district has received a 64,744-dollar “Improving Literacy Through School Libraries” grant. It’s through the U-S Department of Education.

Principal Dan Mart says it will allow the school to update technology, purchase leveled books for grades Kindergarten through twelve, for additional staff and hours in the library, and to update computer software.

Eligibility was based on the number of students receiving free and reduced-price meals.
