(Estherville)– The Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College has a new Executive Dean. Mary Mohni of Hartley was selected following a two-day interview process last month. Her hiring is pending approval by the college’s board of trustees.
Mohni is currently the Director of Nursing Education and Coordinator of the title three program at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon where she’s worked the past 14 years. Prior to that, she worked as an Outreach Director at Baum Harmon Hospital in Primghar and as an Assistant Administrator at Community Memorial Hospital in Hartley. She has also worked at Spencer Municipal Hospital as a surgery nurse.
Mohni received her nursing education from Briar Cliff University and St. Joseph School of Nursing in Sioux City. She was awarded a bachelor’s degree from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake and a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
Mohni assumes her new duties January 2nd, 2003.
