(Milford)– Minor injuries were reported in an accident late Wednesday afternoon at the corner of sixth street and Highway 71 in Milford.
Police say 20-year-old Ashley Weston of Spirit Lake was southbound on Highway 71 while 16-year-old Jenny Nappe of Milford was northbound. Authorities say Nappe was attempting to turn west onto sixth street while another southbound vehicle was trying to turn east onto sixth street. Police say Nappe couldn’t see around the other vehicle and pulled into the path of Weston.
Weston and a passenger in her vehicle, along with Nappe and four passengers in her vehicle, were taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare. All six were treated and released.
About five thousand dollars in damage was reported to both vehicles.
The mishap took place around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
