(Fairmont, Mn.)– A Milford woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday in southern Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 49-year-old Judith Boyken of Milford was traveling north on Martin County Road 37 on the Interstate 90 overpass when she lost control on the ice-covered bridge deck, hitting the bridge.
Boyken, who was alone in the vehicle, was taken by ambulance to the Fairmont Hospital with fractured ribs and abdominal injuries caused by the impact of the steering wheel.
An estimate of damage to a 2000 Chevrolet pickup Boyken was driving wasn’t available.
The mishap took place around 8:30 a.m.
