(Spirit Lake)– An Archer, Iowa native is joining the staff at Iowa Lakes Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
DPM Timothy D. Blankers will join the staff November 1st upon completing a two-year podiatric surgical residency this fall at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Doctor Blankers is a graduate of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines.
Doctor Blankers specializes in treating routine foot and ankle conditions, and sports-related injuries such as sprains, fractures and ligament tears, as well as specializing in foot and ankle surgeries.
Dr. Blankers will hold clinic hours in Spirit Lake on Tuesdays and Thursdays and in Worthington, Minnesota on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Doctor Blankers and his wife Beth reside in Arnolds Park.
