(Spirit Lake)– The race for Dickinson County Attorney is getting heated.
Longtime Democratic incumbent Ned Bjornstad has been promoting his experience and record in the office. He’s touting the efforts that have been made in fighting drunken driving, domestic abuse and assisting crime victims by hiring a full-time person to assist them.
Republican opponent Rosalise Olson says that’s somewhat deceiving since the crime victim advocate position is shared with Emmet county. She is also criticizing the fact the County Attorney’s office isn’t in a county-owned building.
