It was a tight race that came down to a couple of townships in Dickinson county to decide…as Stevens claimed a narrow 75-vote win over challenger Bonnie Vetter. Stevens received 5,327 votes while Vetter had 5,252. Independent Dan Rogers garnered 177 votes.
In the third district race for state senate, Republican David Johnson defeated Democrat Jack Ryan 11,589 to 7,612 votes.
