Dickinson Supervisors Recommend D-N-R Revoke Dutch Creek Permit

November 23, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors Tuesday voted three-to-nothing to recommend the Department of Natural Resources revoke the construction permit issued to Albert Gerhard and Dutch Creek Custom Farms. The company wants to build a four thousand head hog confinement near Horseshoe Bend southwest of Milford.

The supervisors directed Assistant County Attorney Jon Bjornstad and Zoning Administrator David Kolhaase to write the letter. It will be sent via certified registered mail to the D-N-R by Friday.

County officials say they don’t know when they might hear something back.
