(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association’s hall of fame will open its doors to visitors for the first time on Saturday, January 25th…in conjunction with this year’s University of Okoboji Iowa Great Lakes Winter Games.
Doris Welle, the association’s Executive Director, says the museum will be temporarily located next to the Roof Garden in Arnolds Park. She says it’s first display will include the former Iowa Great Lakes Recording Studio, which was located in Milford.
Welle says a fundraising campaign to build a permanent hall of fame museum onto the existing maritime museum will start up sometime in the next 18 months or so.
