(Orleans)– The Dickinson county board of supervisors earlier this week paved the way for an engineering study to get underway on a proposal to form a drainage district in Orleans.
They took the action after receiving a petition from the city requesting the study.
The supervisors hired the Keuhl and Payer engineering firm of Storm Lake to conduct the study at a cost not to exceed three thousand dollars. It will be covered by a bond the city has posted.
