(Emmetsburg)– Palo Alto county authorities are investigating the theft of a large amount of tools and steel from a construction site four miles north of Laurens.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says about 13-thousand dollars worth of new steel was loaded onto a semi-trailer, along with about 32-thousand dollars worth of hand tools. Authorities say the theft took place sometime early this (Fri.) morning.
The items were reported missing by Olberding Construction.
