(Algona)– The Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency has named three people to administrative positions.
Lou Howell, current director of instructional services for the Arrowhead AEA, was appointed to the same role in the Prairie Lakes AEA. Keith Dwire, current instructional support services director for Lakeland AEA, was named instructional services supervisor for the merged agency. And Steve Beeghley was selected as the new agency’s business manager. He currently serves in that capacity for the Arrowhead AEA.
The appointments, approved by the Prairie Lakes AEA board Monday, mean the three can begin their new roles immediately, although the Prairie Lakes agency doesn’t become fully operational until July 1st, 2003.
In announcing his recommendations for the positions, Chief Administrator Bill Garner said AEA staff are working out a future administrative structure to help guide the newly merged AEA through the transition.
