Emmetsburg Woman Injured In A-T-V Accident

(Emmetsburg)– An Emmetsburg woman was injured in an all-terrain-vehicle accident New Year’s Eve in Palo Alto county.

The sheriff’s office says 21-year-old Curtis Brosh of West Bend had been driving the A-T-V along a creek when he lost control. The A-T-V rolled down the frozen creek bed.

A passenger on the machine, 20-year-old Hilary Leuer of Emmetsburg, was taken by ambulance to Palo Alto County Hospital and was later transferred to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

No injuries were reported to Brosh.

Minor damage was reported to the Honda A-T-V he was driving.

The mishap took place around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
