(Milford)– The Okoboji School District is thinking about starting up an early childhood, preschool-type program.
Elementary Principal Bart Mason says provisions for such a program have been included in a construction project currently underway at the elementary building in Milford.
Mason says they’re thinking about offering a half-day program five days a week. But he says they want to hear what the community wants. A meeting for that purpose will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the elementary school cafeteria.
Mason says pre-school programs are already being offered by several other school districts in the area.
