(Worthington, Mn.)– A two-vehicle accident late Sunday afternoon in southwest Minnesota sent five people to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 1993 Chevrolet driven by 18-year-old Kayla Juneman of Round Lake and a 1984 Jeep Cherokee driven by 43-year-old Vicki Benson of Windom were involved in a T-bone type collision.
Juneman and Benson, and three passengers in the vehicle Benson was driving, 46-year-old Deanna Benson, 15-year-old Trevor Benson and 25-year-old Heidi Benson, were transported by ambulance to Worthington Regional Hospital where they were treated and released.
The Chevrolet driven by Juneman was totaled; extensive damage was reported to the Jeep Cherokee driven by Benson.
The mishap took place around 4:50 p.m. on Highway 60 at Brewster.
