(Milford)– A Milford company is expanding its operations.
Cycle Country Accessories Corporation is moving its Perf-Form oil filter manufacturing operations to its Milford facility. Cycle Country purchased the Big Lake, Minnesota manufacturer of specialty oil filters in 2001. The company recently completed a 28-thousand square foot expansion to its Milford facility, which will house the oil filter operation.
Cycle Country President Ron Hickman says the move will result in five to seven new jobs coming to the Iowa Great Lakes. Cycle Country currently employs 65 people.
Hickman says Iowa Lakes Community College will provide training for the expansion and the city of Milford has offered a tax abatement package as an incentive.
Cycle Country was founded in 1980. It’s one of the world’s largest manufacturers of A-T-V accessories. The company’s products are sold throughout the U-S and 35 foreign countries.
