Search Of Terril Residence Results In Drug Charges

(Terril)– A search warrant executed Thursday night on a Terril residence has resulted in drug charges being filed against several people.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says it assisted deputies from Clay county in executing the warrant around 10:00 p.m. at 102 State Street in Terril.

Authorities say it resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Michael Norton of Terril who was charged with having a gathering where controlled substances were used; possession of methamphetamine; possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

28-year-old Jason Jones of Spencer was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

23-year-old Angela Norton of Terril was arrested and charged with having a gathering where controlled substances were used, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Norton and Jones were released on 2,500-dollars bond; Angela Norton was released on a promise to appear.
