(Heron Lake, Mn.)– A one vehicle accident in Jackson county has claimed the life of a Sioux Falls woman.
The Minnesota State Patrol identifies the victim as 20-year-old Rebekah Marie Reiser.
Authorities say Reiser was a passenger in a 2001 Volkswagon Gulf driven by 21-year-old Katherine Ann Vogelsang of Sioux Falls. Vogelsang was transported to the Worthington Hospital and was airlifted to Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.
The State Patrol says Vogelsang lost control of the vehicle on Highway 60 about four miles south of Heron Lake. The vehicle left the road and rolled.
The mishap took place around 7:45 a.m. Saturday.
The vehicle was totaled.
