(Medina, Mn.)– Polaris Industries is once again reporting record earnings per share.
The maker of personal watercraft, A-T-V’s, snowmobiles and Victory motorcycles is reporting a net income of 1.51 million dollars per share for the fourth quarter ended December 31st 2002…a 12 percent increase over the prior quarter.
Company officials attribute the earnings increase to higher sales of all-terrain-vehicles and Victory motorcycles.
Reported net income for the fourth quarter of 2002 was 35 million dollars, up from the prior fourth quarter net income of 31.7 million. Sales for the fourth quarter totaled 431 million dollars…up three percent from last year.
The company’s Victory motorcycles remain extremely popular. Polaris is reporting an 81 percent jump in the sales of Victory motorcycles for the past year.
